Terms of use

These terms of use govern access to and use of the MorCut Butchery website and related enquiry services. By using the site, you agree to read these terms together with any product or service information provided to you.

Use of this website and acceptance of terms

MorCut Butchery operates from Hamilton, Bloemfontein and serves commercial and home butchers across South Africa, including Bloemfontein, Johannesburg, Pretoria, Durban and Cape Town. The site is intended to give general information about butchery bandsaws, mincers, servicing, parts supply and delivery options. It is not a substitute for on-site assessment, operator training or advice specific to your premises.

By browsing the site or submitting an enquiry, you confirm that you will use the information lawfully and for legitimate business or personal purposes. If you do not agree with these terms, you should stop using the site.

Product information, care and safety guidance

Information on bandsaws, mincers and related care is provided in general terms only. Product descriptions may refer to installation, servicing, cleaning demonstrations, blade replacement, plate and knife change, or preventive maintenance, but they do not create a promise that every item will suit every application.

  • Always use guards and follow the correct operating procedure.
  • Switch off and isolate equipment before cleaning, changing blades or replacing plates and knives.
  • Use suitable PPE, including hand protection where appropriate and non-slip footwear.
  • Keep equipment clean and dry, especially in coastal humidity or busy prep rooms.
  • Arrange servicing promptly if a machine shows unusual noise, vibration or cutting issues.

Enquiries, quotations and service requests

Enquiries submitted through the contact page are reviewed by the team in Bloemfontein and allocated where appropriate to sales, support, workshop or logistics. A submission does not itself create a contract. Any quotation, delivery arrangement, installation booking or servicing schedule only becomes binding once confirmed in writing and, where required, once payment terms have been agreed.

The following may be requested through the site or by follow-up communication:

  • product interest for bandsaws or mincers
  • parts supply requests
  • delivery and setup arrangements
  • breakdown callouts and maintenance bookings
  • training and cleaning demonstrations

Deliveries across major centres and surrounding areas

MorCut Butchery offers delivery and servicing across South Africa, with regular supply routes for Bloemfontein, Johannesburg, Pretoria, Durban, Cape Town, Kimberley, Welkom and Kroonstad. Delivery times, access arrangements and installation dates may vary depending on stock, location, road conditions and site readiness.

You are responsible for ensuring that the delivery point is accessible, that the area is ready for setup and that any municipal or premises rules are followed. If a site has limited access, stairways, narrow entries or loading restrictions, you must let us know in advance so proper arrangements can be made.

Payments, pricing and ownership

Prices, if shown or quoted, may change without notice before confirmation. Unless stated otherwise, all amounts are in Rand and may exclude delivery, installation, consumables or additional labour. Any tax treatment will be shown where applicable.

Where payment is required before delivery or installation, equipment and parts remain subject to the agreed payment terms. MorCut Butchery may decline or delay supply if payment, access details or required information are incomplete.

Liability, maintenance and site responsibility

MorCut Butchery takes care to provide useful information and practical support, but we are not responsible for losses caused by incorrect use, poor maintenance, unauthorised repairs, power fluctuations, misuse of equipment or failure to follow safety instructions. Commercial and home butchers remain responsible for their own operating environment, including power supply, hygiene controls and safe handling of meat processing equipment.

Preventive maintenance helps reduce downtime, but no servicing schedule can remove every risk. You must inspect equipment regularly and report faults early. Load-shedding, inconsistent voltage and damp storage conditions can affect performance, so proper shutdown and storage practices are important.

Intellectual property and legal updates

All text, images, layout elements and other site content are protected by applicable intellectual property laws unless stated otherwise. You may not copy, distribute or adapt site content for commercial use without written permission from the operator, Astros Marketing (Pty) Ltd, acting on behalf of the business where applicable.

These terms may be updated from time to time to reflect changes in service arrangements, legal requirements or operating procedures. The version posted on the website at the time of your use applies. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining parts will continue to apply.
